Most
days, I simply cannot respond to the amount of
e-mail that arrives each day.
Here
are my priorities: all orders and questions about
orders will be handled first. Then I will attempt
to balance my time between responding to e-mail
and Web site development. None of these areas are
being handled well but it is the best I can do.
Currently,
25 to 30% of my e-mail goes unanswered. I try to
read every message on the day it arrives but I
may not have time to answer until several days
later (if at all). Even orders sent by e-mail have
been buried for a while because they did not have "Order" in
the subject heading of the message and I did not
read them right away.
I
work days (flex time, thank goodness) and only
have evening and weekends to handle e-mail, Web
site development, and process video orders. My
husband, Pi-Pi, helps a lot with the video orders
and takes care of the housework for me so I can
have time on the computer.
Here
are some tips that may improve your chances of
receiving a personal reply:
- If
you have a question, read our FAQ first to see if
your question is already answered.
- Don't
ask me for help with picture decoders, viewers,
or other computer programs. Ask those questions
in one of the computer newsgroups. You will get
an answer much quicker.
- Don't
ask me to send you watersports pictures. There
are other people who like to trade watersports
pictures in the watersports newsgroups. Post
a message there asking for pictures.
- Keep
your message short. This is very important.
If I can't reply with a sentence or two, I
will skip your mail until I have more time
to write. Many times, such mail gets buried
and I never get back to it.
- If
you are looking for a pen pal, look in the alt.sex.fetish.watersports newsgroup
or the alt.sex.watersports newsgroup
for someone interesting. Or better yet, put a
personal ad at Alt.com.
While I am willing to be helpful, I am not interested
in finding someone to chat with about sex. If
you just want to chat, use the IRC!
- Make
sure your e-mail return address is valid. I continue
to get e-mail, mostly from new Net surfers, who
have not configured their mail program properly.
Some have even sent me serious questions that
I want to answer but any attempted reply bounces
back to me. This frustrates me as well as the
person who would like a response.
- Don't
be insulting! I would not reply to "wannas" even
if I had time.
- My
public PGP key is available for anyone
who needs it for completely private e-mail
messages. For information about PGP and how
to get it, see our Protect Your Rights page.
